Retail Manager - Shopping Centre

This is a dream role for an experienced Retail Manager/Assistant Centre Manager based at a high-profile shopping centre in Brisbane.

This exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and innovative shopping centre Retail Manager or Assistant Centre Manager looking to take the next step at a leading shopping centre based in Brisbane. This is a regional sized asset with a full centre management team and upcoming redevelopment.

Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager, you will be responsible for making sure the centre continues to perform strongly and key relationships with retailers and stakeholders are managed to add value.

Responsibilities and duties will include:
* Assist in preparing and implementing a long-term business strategy that meets the needs of modern shoppers and shopping mall trends
* Work with the Senior Centre Manager to prepare and analyse quarterly budget reviews and reports
* Implementation of retailer engagement strategy
* Debtor management
* Work closely with the asset and facilities managers to schedule maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to business
* Foster productive business partnerships with all retailers and external service providers (such as legal services and contractors)
* Ensure the retail strategy aligns and delivers on the owner’s vision for success
* Contribute to marketing and advertising strategies and branding
* Exceptionally represent the company’s values and prestigious brand in all business interactions and transactions

The Ideal applicant will have:
* Min 2-3+ years’ experience in a Retail Manager/Assistant Centre Managers position
* Innovative and dynamic personality who likes to think outside the box
* Strong communication and client engagement skills
* Shopping centre redevelopment experience would be preferable, but not essential
* High attention to detail
* Have the ability to manage all stakeholders expectations, both internal and external
* Polished professional to represent the prestigious brand
