Reporting to the National Property Manager, this role will work alongside another Manager to take care of cira 190 residential properties. Day to day you will:

• Minimise daily rent arrears, and issuing notices as required by legislation and as per client’s instruction
• Coordinate and undertake routine and ongoing inspections
• Ensure all leases and management agreements are current and valid, including negotiating with relevant parties
• Respond to tenant maintenance requests, and liaising with landlords and contractors to resolve issues
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders
• Review rent for new tenancies and renewals by conducting market appraisals, and advising landlords
• Advertise available properties online and coordinate Leasing tasks

You may have all or some of the following skills and experience:

• A current Assistant Agent - Registration Certificate or Real Estate Agent Licence
• Previous experience in Property Management (You could be an Assistant or Property Officer stepping up)
• Familiarity with Rental Tenancies Act and relevent laws
• Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously
• Excellent reporting, negotiating and communication skills
• Driver licence and own reliable car are essential
• Availability to work Saturdays from 10.00am to 3.00pm, with a weekday off in lieu
