A exciting opportunity has opened for a hands-on Operations Manager to join this leading property company to manage this large well-known shopping centre located in Brisbane.
This role will take responsibility for the overall operations, maintenance and smooth running of the centre. This role will oversee all aspects of hard and soft services, contractor induction and management, OH&S, preventative and reactive maintenance as well as providing support for OPEX and CAPEX budget management. You will deliver small projects, assist tenancy coordination and provide overall operational support to the team.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a Facilities, Maintenance or Operations Manager in a shopping centre, or similar
- The ability to communicate with others and work in a team environment is critical
- Computer and financial reporting literacy
- Qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering or Building Services Trade
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance and Risk
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise at a high level
- A passion for retail property and shopping centres
