Operations Manager

Iconic Recruit are proud to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced shopping centre Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager looking to step up into an Operations Manager role.

Our client is a highly regarded property group that has a diverse portfolio of retail shopping centres located across Australia. They are leaders in their field and are proud of their history and future business growth.

The Opportunity
 
The Centre Manager requires a high performing Operations Manager to be responsible for the facilitation of all on-site operations and organising soft and hard services in a well-known Townsville shopping centre.

As the Operations Manager you will:

  • Work closely with the Centre Manager to roll out the strategic and operational direction.
  • Co-orindate and manage contractors, ensuring agreed standards of service delivery are met.
  • CAPEX and OPEX budget preparation and execution.
  • Oversee tenancy coordination.
  • Drive the presentation and curation of the centre.
  • Contributing to the overall success of the centre with a key focus on continuous improvement.

The Candidate
 
You will ideally have:

  • Previous demonstrated experience as a Facilities or Operations Manager in a shopping centre.
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance and Risk.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship development skills.
  • Impeccable communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for retail property, shopping centres and will consistently strive to deliver outstanding customer experiences.  This role is fantastic for an already established Operations Manager or an Assistant Operations Manager ready to take that next step.
