Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of an innovative marketing strategy at the centre level. This role will lead the charge to ensure the marketing plan will support the centre’s overarching strategy, be customised to the local community, generate consumer and retailer engagement and contribute to the centre’s sales growth all with a focus on the customer. You will have a true consumer and customer-centric vision in seeking ideas and identifying solutions.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Shopping Centre Marketing Manager
- Innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Demonstrated strong people management experience, with a passion for developing and empowering people to succeed
- A collaborative, professional and empathetic approach to dealing with customers/guests and retailers/operators
- Proven analytical AND creative abilities
- Good decision making, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting skills
- Ability to roll out creative and fresh campaigns that target the local community
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Consumer Experience, Marketing, Production, Business or Commerce is highly desirable
