About the role
One of Australia’s leading alternative asset management businesses with offices across Australia’s eastern seaboard and in Asia, are looking to hire a Head of Property Management for a newly created role, based in Brisbane’s CBD.
Job Purpose
The Head of Property Management is responsible for leading and managing the property management function and is accountable for the efficient operation of all properties under management. This includes overseeing:
- Property Managers
- Lease administration
- Assistance with leasing
- Arrears management
- Facilities management
- Budgeting
- Business planning
- Tenant relations to maximise the value and performance of the portfolio.
The ideal person
- You will have a well-rounded experience working across all asset classes including retail, commercial, industrial and medical assets, ideally with a strength in retail property (shopping centres) with increasing levels of responsibility
- In-depth knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office (MRI and Power BI preferred)
