Facilities & Maintenance Manager

Working Owner-side with assets ranging Nth Sydney to the Hills (mixed portfolio) you will manage annual checks, repairs & support tenant requests

The Company:

Established for over 30 years, our client is a well-established private property group with over 20 properties and 300 tenants spanning office, industrial and bulky-goods assets in NSW, QLD and some Internationally (New Zealand). Continuing to expand, the Property Management team is seeking a Facility Manager to support in their tenant-service focused team.

Your New Role:

Tasked with planned and preventative maintenance for the company’s assets on the North Shore and in the North West of Sydney, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing seamless phone and email support to tenants
  • Manage reactive and planned maintenance across all allocated sites including AFSS and A/C
  • Create, distribute, track, check completion and close-off jobs
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure contract performance, delivery timeframes, service, repair and budgets are met
  • Prepare reports to provide regular performance updates for senior management
  • Manage compliance and safety framework, including risk assessments, legal compliance, quality audits and safety implementations.
  • Review and identify process improvements for continued successful operation management.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a property related field
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with a demonstrated ability to be hands-on
  • Driver’s license and car
  • Have a positive, proactive attitude and be able to add value
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Staff management capabilities will be advantageous
