Experienced Body Corporate Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual that will complement our clients existing close knit team in a fast paced office. We have a permanent full time position for a Body Corporate Manager to manage an established portfolio of Strata & Community title clients, available for an immediate start. This office provide extensive on the job training with a proven track record to grow well credentialed and successful Body Corporate Managers.  If you have what they are looking for this could be an opportunity too good for you to miss. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Strata and Community title properties, medium to larger scheme portfolio 
  • Resolving client and contractor disputes
  • Implementing and executing building maintenance strategies
  • Meeting preparation and attendance (including after hour meetings, Time in Lieu is offered to offset these after hour meetings)
  • Creating annual budgets
  • Liaising with clients
  • Maintaining office systems
  • Establishing positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders; and
  • Maintaining and updating knowledge to ensure correct advice is given to clients

About You

  • A minimum 3-5 years experience within Body Corporate Management
  • Experience dealing with schemes with Building Managers and disputes between managers and committees 
  • Team spirit and can contribute ideas that help us retain clients, grow referrals and increase performance
  • Eager to learn new systems and processes
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to run meetings efficiently and effectively
  • A 100% focus on customer service
  • Ability to attend and chair after hour client meetings as required (on average 1 per week)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills along with the patience to deal with emotional unit owners, frustrated tenants, and strict deadlines from clients

  • Driver's Licence and own vehicle
