Iconic Recruit has been engaged to recruit for an experienced Shopping Centre Manager to take charge of a sub-regional shopping centre for a six-month contract. This position has the potential to be extended or become a permanent position in the future with loads of growth opportunities available in the company.
Reporting to the Head of Property, you will be responsible for making sure the centre continues to perform strongly and key relationships with retailers and stakeholders are managed to add value.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Directly liaise with the owner, occupiers and operational personnel
- Deliver efficient and cost-effective management of your shopping centre
- Prepare and analyse quarterly budget reviews
- Manage policies and procedures in line with owner objectives, investment strategies and occupier requirements
- Foster productive business partnerships with all retailer and external service providers
- Ensure the retail centre strategy aligns and delivers on the owner’s vision for success
- Represent the company’s values and brand
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Shopping Centre Manager
- Experience using MRI is a MUST
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with team management
- Understanding of shopping centre trends and diversification
- High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to manage all stakeholders’ expectations, both internal and external
