Business Development Director

Our Client:

A global leader in business management services and tech solutions for commercial, residential, retail and corporate real estate, they have been operating for over 15 years and have grown to a staff of over 500 worldwide.

With mounting interest from major players here in Australia, they are now seeking a Country-Head.

The Role:
Tasked with establishing and the managing the Australian office, duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility of the Australia regional office, with the primary responsibility of Business Development, client and partnership management
  • Develop and implement Sales Plan to achieve the company targets
  • Work individually and with the marketing and sales support teams to build brand and create a pipeline of prospects
  • Make company service / solution presentations to existing clients and prospects
  • Hire and train additional team members to support in growth and delivery
  • Oversee daily business operations
  • Review regional accounting / financial reports
  • Preparation and presentation of regional reports
  • Network and actively participate in User Groups, Associations, and Trade Shows

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in building trust, winning business and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Experience with Real Estate software solutions like Yardi, MRI, Argus, Cougar 
  • Knowledge of back office functions and processes in the real estate industry (residential, retail, office and others)
  • Operational and staff management experience
  • Multi-Tasker: Willingness to roll up ones sleeves and assist in non-core areas
  • Willingness to Travel within the region and internationally on occasion
