An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Centre Manager to join their small team and be based on site at a sub-regional shopping centre.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Centre Manager in their day to day duties
- Directly liaise with the owner regarding management, marketing, leasing and operational activities.
- Assist in preparing and implementing the centre's income and expenditure budget
- Maintain efficient control over the centre’s operating costs
- Ensure that all operations and maintenance undertaken in the centre conforms to the Workplace Health and Safety Legislative requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations to various stakeholders and interested parties as required
- Develop strong networks with Local Council, Local resident and community groups
- Constant awareness of all presentation aspects of the Centre – internal and external.
- Ensure that retailers are aware of any impact of the development in a timely and effective manner, resulting in minimum impact upon the development or the retailer.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong market knowledge and proven success in Retail management. You will operate with high ethical standards, always ensuring compliance to laws and legislations. You will act with integrity and pride, maintaining strong working relationships with all colleagues and stakeholders, always seeking a win/win outcome for challenges you face. High level financial acumen, commercial intelligence and strong negotiation skills will also be required.
