Administration Manager - Shopping Centre

An amazing opportunity has been created for an experienced Administration Manager that has shopping centre and/or commercial property experience. Perfect for an Administration Manager wanting to step up into an Assistant Centre Managers role.

The role is based out of a shopping centre on the Northern Gold Coast, and will be an 8 month contract with strong potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Providing highly effective administrative support to the Centre Management team
  • Annual, quarterly, and monthly reporting in an accurate and timely manner
  • Support the Centre Manager with property administration tasks including tenant account reconciliations
  • Accurate lease set up and tenant lease compliance/administration i.e lease audits
  • Assist in managing the centres arrears policy
  • Accurate monthly calculation of extended trade charges and property directly recoverable outgoings
  • Accurately maintain Majors register for lease year and financial year calculation for outgoings, percentage rent and rent reviews.
  • Monitor property expense accounts for capital expenses
  • Review Corporate On-charges for payment by properties
  • End of month accounting reconciliation processes including supporting work papers

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Sound knowledge of MRI or Yardi software
  • Previous exposure to Shopping Centre Management/Administration highly desirable
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs with high proficiency in Excel
  • General accounts and administration experience
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of presentation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Minimum 2-3 + years in a similar role
