Administration Manager - Shopping Centre

Excellent opportunity to use your retail or commercial property administration skills with this major shopping centre owner.

An amazing opportunity has been created for an experienced Administration Manager that has shopping centre and/or commercial property experience. This major property company is well established in the Australian property market with a strong reputation for looking after its employees and creating great places to work.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Financial Accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable and budgeting.
  • Coding of Invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting on the financial, operational and sustainability positions
  • Invoicing of monthly charges to tenants
  • Payment of expenses to approved limits
  • Undertake Fixed and CPI reviews and Market Rent Reviews (provide supporting evidence) in a timely manner
  • Undertake account and lease maintenance
  • Ensure lease information is up to date and correct
  • Provide assistance to create thoroughly detailed reports by the end of each month.
  • Assisting with and attending to tenant inquiries and requests promptly
  • Attend and participate in Management Meetings and conference calls
  • Assist in the development of safe work practices
  • Generally, assist the management team in all areas of the day to day running and administration of the Centre
  • Establish, maintain and build conciliatory, proactive, open relationships with all tenants and service providers

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Strong knowledge MRI software is preferred, Yardi will also be acceptable
  • Retail Property accounting experience
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Data entry experience
  • Work orders/purchase orders/utility orders
  • Proven ability to coordinate and implement office procedures
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication skills
  • Report writing experience
